Katelyn Goetz
General Manager
Polka Dot Bake Shop

Katelyn will be celebrating her third year at Polka Dot in June 2011.
While attending Johnson & Wales University, she joined the Bake
Shop as a baker/decorator, and became the General Manager upon
her graduation in 2009. Katelyn is originally from Cleveland, Ohio,
but says she does not miss the snow! In her spare time, Katelyn
enjoys attending concerts, hanging out with friends,
and loves reading a good book.








Rachel Davis
General Manager
Millchap Purveyors LLC

Rachel moved to Charlotte from Castro Valley, CA as a child and
now enjoys living in the Queen City. She joined Polka Dot in April
2010 as a Baker/Customer Service and was soon asked to head up
Polka Dot's new Sweet Potato Cracker production facility. Rachel
sings jazz in her spare time and also enjoys painting, traveling,
and watching movies.






Kelley Hurtt
Lead Baker/Special Events Coordinator

Kelley is Polka Dot's Lead Baker and Special Events Coordinator.
She is originally from Washington, D.C., but now calls Charlotte
home with her new husband, Jonathan. A graduate from Johnson &
Wales University, Kelley has worked in many different food venues,
but has found her passion in baking. She enjoys shopping trips to
South Park Mall and long walks with her dog, Rocky.







Sean Morgan
Senior Customer Service Representative

Sean began working with Polka Dot in the fall of 2008 while he
was a senior at Myers Park High School. He moved to Charlotte
from Columbia, SC over 13 years ago and is currently attending
school for interior design.








Stephanie Westlake
Baker/Decorator/Customer Service
Polka Dot Bake Shop

Stephanie is from Traverse City, Michigan but has found a second
home baking and decorating with Polka Dot. She moved to
Charlotte in 2008 to attend Johnson & Wales University and
graduated in May 2010 with her Pastry Arts Degree. She is currently
working on her Bachelor's Degree in Food Service Management.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys baking and cooking with her
boyfriend, spending time with their two puppies, Kevin and Clyde,
and reading.
 





Michelle Rubino

Michelle began with Polka dot as a Co-op intern from Johnson
& Wales University and stayed to bake and decorate cupcakes,
and bake Sweet Potato Crackers. When Michelle was 16, she
moved from Algonquin, Illinois to Mooresville with her mother.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her brother,
sister, 3 nieces and new nephew.
 




Amy Rose
Customer Service Representative

Amy began with Polka Dot Bake Shop in September 2010.
She grew up in Winston-Salem, lived in Greensboro for eight
years, and has now made a home out of Charlotte with her wife,
Laurel, and two cats. In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading,
gardening, and volunteering at local non-profit organizations.

Phu Dinh

Phu moved to Charlotte five years ago from Vietnam with his wife Lee and daughter Amy.  after one year of working without speaking any English, he decided to take English speaking classes.  In 2007, Phu started at CPCC and has finished his degree in the Heating and Air Conditioning field.

Ashley did her co-op internship with Polka Dot
as a Baking and Pastry student at Johnson & Wales University. With her co-op finished, Ashley continues to work at Polka Dot as a baker, decorator, and customer service representative.
She is originally from Chester, VA, but now calls Charlotte home.
She is looking forward to graduating in May 2011.
